The fees are divided into two categories:
i) Compulsory fees
ii) Optional fees
i) Compulsory fees
The compulsory charges include:
a) MyStartr's 8% Success fee + 8% Sales and Service Tax (SST)
(Remark: We will only charge the Success Fee and the SST after the ECF project is successfully funded)
For example:
- Total funds raised = RM1,000,000
- Success Fee = RM1,000,000 x 8% = RM80,000
- SST = RM80,000 + 8% = RM86,400
- The total fee: RM86,400
b) Legal Service Fee & Company Valuation Cost
The fees are payable based on the payment structure set by the third-party service providers you choose to engage for your ECF project. For example, based on past projects, the legal service fee, including the cost of setting up a limited liability partnership, is approximately RM 10,000, while the company valuation cost typically ranges from RM 2,500 to RM 10,000.
ii) Optional fees
As the name implies, it is up to you to decide whether you want to engage a third-party service provider to assist in preparing copywriting, video shooting, marketing funnel, etc.
These services can help increase brand awareness and maximise the marketing value of your ECF campaign during the campaign period.
Based on past projects, the following optional services and their corresponding estimated fees may apply:
- Copywriting - RM1,000 ~ RM5,000
- Video production - RM4,000 ~ RM10,000
- Landing page creation - RM1,000 ~ RM5,000
- Online advertisements - RM10,000 ~ RM20,000
- Pitchdeck creation - RM1,000 ~ RM5,000
